Studio policies


ARRIVAL: CHECK IN AT THE FRONT DESK each time you arrive for class. Please do not arrive more than 15 minutes before you or your child’s class time. We recommend arriving to the studio 10 minutes before your scheduled class, providing enough time to park, get dressed and ready for class. Students arriving more than 15 minutes late will not be allowed to attend class and will not be refunded. Parents must check-in/out their child at the front desk before leaving . Parents are welcome to wait in the lobby area during class and may watch their child via a live feed monitor in the lobby. We are not able to allow parents inside the main classroom area due to lack of space, safety, and distractions. Thank you for your understanding!  

ATTIRE: For all beginner level classes at Arkansas Circus Arts, leggings and a t-shirt/tank top are appropriate attire for class. ABSOLUTELY NO JEWELRY, METAL, ZIPPERS, SEQUINS, OR FLOWY CLOTHING. As a student progresses, leotard and leggings are recommended in all aerial arts classes with the exception of pole, where shorts are recommended for a better grip on the pole. Please wear class appropriate attire in the studio and be fully clothed when entering or exiting the studio grounds. Wearing undergarments only is not allowed during pole activities. Street shoes must be removed before entering the classroom. Pole heels and “dressing up” are always optional and welcomed if desired.

WHAT TO BRING?:  Water bottle, proper clothing for class, and a good attitude!

INCLEMENT WEATHER: Arkansas Circus Arts will follow the Little Rock School District's inclement weather policy. If LRSD is closed, Arkansas Circus Arts is closed. We may open the studio if conditions improve during the day. Please check our Facebook group for the most up to date information.

CANCELLATIONS: Arkansas Circus Arts reserves the right to cancel class due to an instructor emergency or inclement weather. Arkansas Circus Arts may offer a make-up class option or may pro-rate tuition.

MAKE-UP CLASS POLICY: In order for you or your child to be eligible for a make-up class, you must notify the studio via email or phone within 24 hours if you know you are going to miss class. Please email makeupclass@arcircus.com or call the studio at 501-725-4975 to notify ACA staff and schedule a make-up class. Please note, there is NO guarantee that you or your child will be able to make-up a missed class. Make-up classes are based on available space.  

WITHDRAW POLICY: You may withdraw from classes at any time. Drop requests must be submitted in WRITING and must be received by Arkansas Circus Arts personnel before the 1st of the month. If we do not receive the written request, tuition will continue to be billed. Email info@arcircus.com to un-enroll from a class.

PRIVATE LESSONS: Private lessons must be paid in full, in advance to reserve studio and instructor time. A cancellation notice of 24 hours must be given to receive a full refund. The student may reschedule their private lesson for another date and time. You may email, text, or call to schedule or cancel your private lesson. Any cancellations made in less than 24 hours will not receive a refund.

STUDIO PARTIES: Studio parties must pay a $100 non-refundable deposit in advance to reserve studio and instructor time. Once a deposit has been received, your date and time will be reserved. Private parties must give a cancellation notice of at least 48 hours for a full refund. Parties that cancel less than 48 hours of their scheduled appointment will not receive a refund.

SKILL PROGRESSIONS: Arkansas Circus Arts offers class based on skill level. Each level and class type has its own skill progressions. Ask your instructor for more information on these skills required to move to a higher level class. For all required progression skills, you must be able to execute each skill cleanly and without prompting or review from the instructor. For all strength requirements, it is important that you know how to maintain proper body positioning for your safety. Clean form is equally important as your ability to execute the skill.

DROP-IN STUDENTS: We accept adult drop in (walk in) students if there is space available in class. We strongly encourage students to enroll in our series to secure a spot in class. You cannot sign up online for a drop in, but you can check the class and make sure there is space.

OPEN GYM: Open Gym hours are only available for our ADULT students unless otherwise specified. Teaching, student to student skill share, and learning from the internet is strictly prohibited during open gym time.  If you have a question/concern about a skill that you learned in class, feel free to ask the open studio host. Only trained staff members may rig or handle aerial equipment, ask for assistance from a staff member if you need equipment adjusted for you.


payment policies

MONTHLY PAYMENTS: Tuition Fees are posted on the 1st of each month. Tuition is DUE on the 5th of each month. Tuition may be paid monthly by cash, credit/debit card draft or by check. Returned checks will incur a $30 fee and will be added on to your outstanding balance. If you have selected e-payment schedule on your account, the credit card information we have on file will be used to pay your tuition and fees at Arkansas Circus Arts. All recurring tuition fees are drafted on the 5th of every month. You may change your card at any time by logging into the student portal or at the ACA Front Desk.

LATE FEES: A $15 late fee will be applied on the 15th of each month if tuition is not paid in full.

REFUNDS: NO credits, adjustments or refunds will be given. There are NO refunds for missed or dropped classes.

ATTENDANCE POLICY: Class attendance is essential and determines the success of our student’s progress, sense of accomplishment, technical development and confidence. While we love 100% attendance, we understand that is not always possible. If your child will be absent for any reason, please notify the studio by phone or email. If available, your child may attend a make-up class.

DISCOUNTS: ACA offers sibling discounts of 10% on monthly tuition. The discount is given to each additional child after the first is enrolled.
