Inclement Weather Policies

Arkansas weather can change quickly, so we have a plan for handling classes when road or weather conditions make it unsafe to operate.

Studio Closures

Studio closures are based on road and weather conditions. Arkansas Circus Arts generally follows Little Rock School District (LRSD) weather closures when making decisions about studio operations.

However, LRSD closures do not automatically mean Arkansas Circus Arts will close. Arkansas Circus Arts makes the final decision regarding studio operations based on current conditions and the safety of our students, families, and staff.

How We’ll Notify You

If the studio closes due to inclement weather, we will notify affected families by:

• Email
• Text message

Please make sure your contact information is current in your student account so you receive closure notifications.

Makeup Classes for Weather Closures

If your class is canceled because of an inclement weather studio closure, you will receive one makeup class.

The makeup class:

• Must be scheduled within 90 days of the canceled class.
• Is available specifically for students affected by the weather-related studio closure.
• Is subject to class availability.
