“Hi there! My name is Kim! I teach hoop dance and fire classes, and I’ve been into circus arts for since 2008. I first got into circus arts when I took a hoop dance workshop at a music festival! Fun fact about me: I grew up in Saudi Arabia, and I’m a retired midwife!”
Circus is for every shape, size, and age! The most important thing for me as an instructor is for students to feel welcome, included, and seen. Taking a leap of faith and coming to a circus class can seem intimidating. I want my students to feel comfortable and capable. It’s about mixing fitness with fun!
